Quite Large

I bought this case for my Canon SD880 camera. If you're like me and want to put your camera in your pocket while it's in a case, stay away. I made the mistake of not looking at the dimensions and I found out the hard way that this case will not fit in your pocket. I have a canon sd880 and this case is considerably larger than it. I can't really comment on the construction of the case as I returned it shortly after purchasing it.

If you're looking for a compact case, check out the Caselogic UNZB-2. My camera fit snugly in there and easily can be put in your pocket.

Better than I Imagined!

I'm very happy with this purchase. This case is perfect for my needs. An interior velcro strap holds down the camera so it does not move around. There is an interior mesh pocket to hold anything you may need/ie: spare battery, memory card, etc. The case is a nice flat shape and is small enough to store easily in my purse or briefcase. I would buy this camera case again for myself or happily give it as a gift.

Much bigger than expected

Given the description of this case, I was expecting it to fit snug around my Canon SD 780. However, when I got it in the mail I found I could fit nearly two cameras inside. Thus, my camera, when placed inside, bounced around way too much. I returned the item and bought the Caselogic UNZB-2 Compact Camera Case, which fits snug and seems to offer great protection for my camera.

I was looking for a case that fit my new SD780IS- this claims to be just that. It's not. The protection is good but the case is about 25% bigger than the camera. Disappointed.

The case is too big for the Canon SD1200 and similar cameras that size. Camera is not secure and slides around in case. It is good if you want to put other items in the case with the camers, but not if you just want it to store the camera alone.

It's not very compact, won't fit in your pocket! Also, the support that comes with it is not convenient to hang to your belt, it looks quite strange, and obvious to a robber. I'd recommend something with a belt strap.

It's quite protective, though, a good option to put it in a backpack or some other form of transport that you expect to get banged and hit.

The case does the job it was intended to do. The only negative is that it is not capable of also storing the charger because of lack of space.
