Wanted a camera that had more versatility than our little Canon elph but didn’t want the bulk of an SLR. This is a great camera. The images are very good but it is the ability to utilize a 12x optical zoom in a very portable size that makes this camera. Am enjoying it very much. Hard to beat a Canon.

My husband and I had a Nikon Coolpix until I accidentally put it through the washing machine. We hated out coolpix, so ruining it with the washing machine was a great excuse to get a new camera. After researching different cameras in our price range, we decided on this one. And it’s worth the money! We love it. It takes great pictures, is easy to use and we can’t find a single thing we don’t like about it!

Camera is as good as advertised. Have no idea how long the battery will last as I do not use it that much and have had it only a month or so. Otherwise, it is great.

A great camera far as picture quality, zoom range and ease of use. However, the constant flash popping up is a pain and the camera is difficult to hold one handed. It needs some sort of a side hand grip to make it easier to grip when using.
None of these minor drawbacks is enough of a reason to not buy this well made camera.
