How Do I Take Black And White Pictures On My Canon Powershot Sd1000?

Help me please!!! I can’t figure out how to take black and white pictures on my canon powershot SD1000. If anyone knows can u tell me how. I do not want the kind where u take some of the picture in black and white. I want the whole thing in black and white.

The best method is to shoot your pictures in colour and then convert them to grayscale with photo editing software. This leaves all your options open and gives you much more control over the end result.
You don’t need anything as sophisticated or expensive as Photoshop to do this. You probably had an application that will do the job bundled with your camera. If not there is a free program you can download from here:http://www.gimp.org/
Just put the color ones on your computer then change them to b/w with photo edit software that way you still have the orig
press the function button
choose color
then scroll across
