How To Upload Videos To My Mac Computer From A Canon Powershot A75 Digital Camera?

ok so ive had this camera for years now…and i take videos on it but they just sit on there cuz i have NO IDEA how to get them onto my mac comp
like people tell me to just do the same thing u do for uploading pics but it doesnt work is there a specific application i need to do it or sumthin??
i will seriously love u if u help me cuz i have no freaking clue…..like i said mac computer, Canon Powershot A75

All you have to do is connect the camera to your Mac with the USB cord. Turn the camera on (not to take photos but the other setting). iPhoto will turn on and connect to your camera. iPhoto will download the videos to iPhoto. You will see them just like the regular photos. Just click on the video and it will play. You can export it or save it to the desktop.
The videos taken with my Sony Cybershot upload to iPhoto along with the photos. Why yours doesn’t I don’t know. When you connect the camera and an icon shows up on the Desktop, look for the video files in there and drag and drop them to the Desktop, iPhoto or wherever you want to keep them.
