Is Canon Powershot Sd1100 Is Good For Photography?

I want to get into photography, but I can’t buy a really expensive SL camera, nor do I want one that big.
So is the Canon Powershot SD1100 IS going to take cool pictures? If you know what I mean. Like not just random whatever pictures, but cool artsy ones?

Yeah i have it, its an amazing camera, they’re are technical problems every once in a while, but that’s every camera. I too, am a photographer, and I use this when i wanna do light photography, and when i wanna do serious kind, i use my nikon. But this camera is really easy to use, It takes amazing pictures, and its not to expensive, sounds good to me.
It will do, but if you take intro to photog, some of the lessons consist of manually adjusting some settings that MOST point-and-shoot camera’s cannot perform.http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/contro…
Any camera is good for photography. What else would you do with a camera? The SD1100 IS is a very capable point & shoot camera. Whether your images are ‘cool and artsy’ is all up to you, really…
