I can’t tell the difference between this battery and the Canon brand battery that came with my camera. and this battery is at fraction of the cost for another Canon brand. it’s a steal if you ask me.

The reviews I read on generic battery replacements made me hesitate on purchasing one. This battery has been fabulous. I can not tell a difference between this one and the original Canon battery that came with my camera. Perfect if you are needing an extra battery for your camera.

So far this battery works great and seems to hold the same amount of charge than the original battery that came with my Canon PowerShot SD780 IS. I have only had it a couple of weeks so I can’t talk to how many charges (aka how long it will work) it will take. I also do not have the time to do a side by side comparison against Canon’s battery but it does work well and so far is a good backup battery. Giving it 5 stars because nothing bad since I have had it.
