What Does The Conversion Lens Adapter For Canon Powershot G10 Do?
Posted on December 4th, 2009 by digital camera canon powershot
I’m not entirely certain about this, but does using the adapter on a Powershot G10 allow you to attach standard Canon lenses (EF / EF-S)? I heard somewhere that it does but I can’t find anything on the web about it.
If not what are these adapters used for?
Thanks, Mick.

No..it does not adapt to standard Canon lenses..It adapts to special lenses designed for that adapter…usually a telephoto, and a wide angle…
It allows you to attach lenses that give either a wider or longer view. They aren’t standard lenses. They’re specially designed to fit the adapter and to adjust the field of view on this particular camera.
I haven’t personally used these (prefer to use an SLR for different lenses and a p&s to play and keep in my pocket), so I can’t comment on the quality.
