I’m soon buying the canon powershot sx1, and I don’t know what rechargeable “AA” batteries last the longest, and which ones are better,? the ones that take 15 mins. to charge, or the ones that take hours?

I’ve had good luck with the Sanyo eneloop AAs. They come charged and stay charged a long time out of the camera. They seem to last longer in the camera, too. Of course, the more you use the display and flash, the faster the batteries will go down. You can charge the eneloops 1000 times.
From what I was told, the batteries that take only 15 minutes wear out a lot faster than the ones that take a couple of hours. If you get 4 batteries, you can always have one set charged and one set in your camera.
