Why Is My Canon Powershot A430 Suddenly Taking Faded, Overexposed Images?

My Canon PowerShot A430 suddenly started taking faded, whitish, overexposed images when shot in normal daylight. Photos taken with flash in a darkened environment or at night come out normal. What might be the problem?

  1. Check your ISO. Perhaps you have it turned up too high.
